Labor Day Weekend is the perfect time to take a breather before the onset of a hectic fall season. With the kids heading back to school and summer coming to a close, many of us would love to relax with family and friends and enjoy having a long weekend. Thinking about throwing a small get-together this weekend? If so, read on for some delicious cocktail recipes our mixologists have come up with that you can easily make at home and serve as a refreshing drink for your guests!

The Classic Mojito
A largely popular cocktail, the mojito is a simple drink to make and is loved for its refreshing taste with a hint of lime juice and mint. Mojitos originated in Havana, Cuba and are mostly enjoyed during the summer months and in the early fall in the United States. Take a look at the recipe below to make our version of this favorite cocktail!

1.5 oz Premium Rum
0.75 oz Lime Juice
0.75 oz Simple Syrup
8-10 Mint Leaves with a Sprig for Garnish
1.0 oz Club Soda

Lightly muddle the mint leaves with the lime juice and simple syrup. Add the rum and ice and briefly shake. Add club soda to shaker and pour all contents into a highball/pilsner/collins glass. Garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with straws.

White Peach Sangria
Originally a popular drink in Portugal and Spain, sangria is a huge crowd pleaser in the US. Made with wine and fresh chopped fruit, sangria is a light and sweet drink that can be made various ways. We love the White Peach Sangria, which is perfect on a hot day! Make a pitcher for your family and friends with our recipe below!

1-2 Bottles of Moscato Wine
6 oz Peach Nectar
2 oz Peach Schnapps
2 Ripe Peaches, cut and pitted
12 oz  Sprite or Ginger Ale

Stir Moscato wine, peach nectar, peach schnapps and chopped peaches together in a large container. Refrigerate for one hour, then add Sprite or Ginger Ale.
