October is finally here! We’re kicking off the start of this month with new updated restaurant menus for the fall season at Liberty House, Stone House, and The Ryland Inn. Our chefs have been hard at work creating new dishes to reflect the changing of the seasons. Read on to learn about some of their new menu items at each of our Landmark restaurants!
At Liberty House, Chef Ken has crafted two delicious new appetizers for his fall menu. The first is a Braised All Natural Beef Brisket, served with wild mushrooms, truffle pecorino cheese, shallots, herbs, crostini bread and brisket jus. It is the perfect melt-in-your-mouth treat before enjoying dinner at Liberty House. He also incorporated the tastes of fall in his Pressed Duck Confit Terrine. This unique appetizer is served up with pickled grapes, hazelnuts, acacia honey, Gaufrette potato chips and a port wine syrup. Delish!
Chef Jerry is busy serving up some new fall dishes at Stone House at Stirling Ridge, too! He has updated one of his menu favorites, the Lardo Wrapped Tuna Loin, to include fresh kale from the onsite Dancing Goat Farm as well as sweet potatoes and a foie gras bordelaise. It is the perfect hearty dish that Stone House guests will love this fall. Another favorite is his Roast Butternut Squash Soup which is made with wild mushrooms and truffle oil. This flavorful soup is super rich and is especially great when enjoyed on a chilly night!
Ryland Inn Chef Craig is taking a different approach when it comes to crafting his fall menu. The menu at the Ryland is constantly changing to reflect the freshest ingredients of the season around the Garden State! One of our favorite specialties from the kitchen this week is Chef’s Handmade Farfalle. This mid-course meal is made with farm fresh pumpkin, walnuts and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. We also can’t get enough the Skatewing entrée, which is served with baby turnips, Sicilian pistachio and brown butter. The accent of the pistachio with the turnips and tender skatewing is a real treat for anyone looking for something special to try this season.
