Last month, our team had a blast at the first Big Red Tomato Dinner at Stone House at Stirling Ridge restaurant in Warren, NJ. The event was a hit, as Chef Jerry Villa prepared his take on traditional Italian favorites using his own recipe of red sauce. The first course was Baked Eggplant simmered in red sauce, which warmed guests right up from the chilly winter weather outside.
Next was Chef Jerry’s Meatball Platter, served with garlic bread and a scoop of fresh ricotta cheese.
The final dinner course, a crowd favorite, was Chef’s Chicken Parmigiano and imported spaghetti. Oh, was it delicious!
For dessert, guests topped off the meal with sweet Tiramisu and Limoncello, a traditional Italian lemon liqueur. Chef Jerry used fresh ingredients imported from Italy, which really made the entire Big Red Tomato Dinner stellar.
