Our Story
Landmark Hospitality is rooted in sincerity and strives to create bonds with fellow Memorymakers, guests, and the communities served through engaged service, personalized celebrations, and a culture of food, music, art, design, and experiences.
Husband and wife duo and the founders of Landmark Hospitality, Jeanne and Frank Cretella, knew that hospitality was in their blood from the very beginning. Not only have they been together since they were both twelve years old, they are married for over 40 years. Earlier in their career, they owned and operated New York City icons such as The Boat House in Central Park, Lundy’s in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn and American Park, in Battery Park, NYC.
In 2001, Jeanne and Frank found themselves starting over again, still in the industry they love and are committed to, but now in New Jersey. New Jersey embraced them with open arms, and Landmark Hospitality was created with unwavering gratitude to New Jersey.
In 2015 their daughter, Maddy, joined Landmark and is responsible for continuing to grow the Landmark brand as a leader in hospitality. The trio is all about people, exceptional experiences, relationships, and celebrations. Landmark is proud and honored to be classified as a New Jersey Women Business Enterprise.
At Landmark Hospitality’s core is it’s team members. Its success is the direct result of the success & happiness of each team member at every venue. To achieve our promise, we’ve created a quarterly bonus plan that supports all non-tipped team members, matching 401k plans and career path coaching and training as pillars of its benefits plan.
Landmark strives to continuously give back and make a positive impact within the community. Landmark’s company giving program, Help Us Give (H.U.G.) was established in 2001 and is dedicated to helping the community – specifically youth – through local charities and community events.
Continuing to give back, Art of Hospitality Workers Alliance is a non-for-profit school founded and funded by Frank and Jeanne Cretella. This school was established in 2019 as way for the Cretella’s to give back to the industry that has done so much for them. The mission is to support the needs and dreams of hospitality workers by offering career paths, growth opportunities, and propelling career and personal advancement, all while offering financial support during times of need. Proud partners of Educate The Block, currently there are schools in Jersey City, Plainfield, and coming soon Summit, NJ.
